Privacy policy

The short version

Lulla has no account, no sign-in and no ZenovaApps server. Everything you log is written to a private database inside the app's own storage on your phone and is never sent to us.

Two things leave the device, and only in the situations described below: ordinary advertising signals when you use the free version, and purchase state when you buy Lulla Pro. Your baby log is never part of either.

What the app stores on your device

All of it lives in an app-private local database that other apps cannot read. It is not uploaded to ZenovaApps and we have no way to see it.

Two consequences are worth understanding. If you uninstall the app without a backup, this data is gone and we cannot restore it for you. And if Android Auto Backup is enabled on your device, your log may be included in your own Google account backup, which is governed by Google’s privacy policy rather than ours.

• Feeds, sleep, nappies, pumping, solids, medicine, temperature, weight and height entries.
• Notes you write, and your baby’s name and date of birth.
• Your settings: night-mode preferences, reminder preferences, vibration patterns and purchase state.

Export

When you export your log as a CSV file, the file is written to the app’s temporary storage and handed to whichever app you choose in the share sheet. Nothing is uploaded by Lulla.

Advertising

The free version shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To serve them, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects information such as the device advertising identifier, an approximate location derived from the IP address, the device model and the operating system version.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Lulla shows a consent form before any ad is requested. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy → Ad privacy options.

• Ads are never shown on the logging screen, and never while night mode is active.
• There are no full-screen interstitial ads anywhere in the app.
• Rewarded video plays only when you choose to start it.
• Buying Lulla Pro removes all ads, and after that no ad requests are made at all.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the one-time lifetime purchase are processed by Google Play Billing. Lulla never sees your card details, name or address. We receive only whether an entitlement is active.

Children

Lulla is designed for and directed at parents and caregivers, who are adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. The information you record is about your child, but it is recorded by you, stored on your device, and never transmitted to us.

Permissions the app asks for

Lulla does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files, precise location or health data.

• Notifications — the live feed and sleep timer, and your reminders. Nothing else.
• Vibration — confirming an entry without a sound or a bright screen.
• Internet and network state — loading ads only. The app itself works fully offline.
• Run at startup — re-scheduling your reminders after a reboot.
• Advertising ID — ad serving. Removed entirely once you buy Pro.

Deleting your data

Settings → Data → Delete all data permanently erases every entry on the device. Uninstalling the app also removes the local database. Because we never had a copy, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
