ZENOVAAPPS / EXACTFIT

Privacy policy

Your images are processed on your device. Here is what stays local, what connected services handle, and which controls are yours.

Who this policy covers

ZenovaApps publishes ExactFit, an Android utility for resizing, compressing and converting selected images. Core image processing does not require an ExactFit account. This policy covers the app, these policy pages and support messages.

Images, metadata and local records

ExactFit processes images you select in Android's picker or explicitly share with the app. Image pixels, filenames, content references and EXIF are processed on your device and are not automatically uploaded to an ExactFit server. A cloud-backed photo provider may use a network connection to deliver your selected image.

App-private storage can contain temporary working files, settings, a draft, local result history, output references, dimensions, file sizes, checksums, ad-placement counters and entitlement status. ExactFit's local entitlement ledger keeps hashed purchase-token references rather than raw purchase tokens. Temporary-file cleanup is best-effort; this policy does not promise a fixed automatic deletion deadline.

The Remove EXIF tool verifies EXIF absence only. XMP, IPTC and other embedded metadata are outside that verification; this is not a guarantee that an exported image is anonymous.

Advertising and privacy choices

The ad-supported experience uses Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). When ads are eligible, the Google SDK can collect and share IP addresses, app interactions, diagnostic information and device/account identifiers for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. An IP address can indicate approximate location. Processing depends on region, privacy choices, device settings and ad partners.

UMP manages required consent messages. Ad privacy choices are available in ExactFit Settings when Google requires that entry point. Android and Google provide separate advertising-ID and privacy controls. Verified Pro entitlement disables ExactFit ad requests and ad surfaces; it does not delete data already held by Google.

Google Play and purchase verification

When offered in your installed version, paid features use Google Play Billing. Google handles payment credentials; ExactFit does not receive card or bank details. Prices, available products and purchase conditions are shown through Google Play.

Versions using server verification send the Google Play purchase token, product ID and app package name over HTTPS to a separate purchase-verification service, which checks ownership, validity, refunds and restoration with Google Play. This request does not contain image pixels, filenames or EXIF.

The current verification service uses OpenAI Sites and its infrastructure providers, separately from this policy website. Its implementation does not intentionally write raw purchase tokens to a database or application logs. Request IP information is used for abuse limits. Infrastructure providers may process security/access records under their own policies; no universal provider-retention period is promised here. Google retains its own purchase records.

Exports and sharing

Exported copies saved to shared storage remain under your control at the chosen destination. Clearing ExactFit history does not delete exported images. When you choose Share, the receiving app can upload, store or otherwise handle the output under its own terms.

On Android 7–9 (API 24–28), ExactFit saves its output copies in app-specific storage. Android can remove these copies when app storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Before clearing app storage or uninstalling, copy any exports you want to keep to a separate folder or receiving app and check that the copies open. On Android 10 and later, gallery exports use shared Pictures/ExactFit storage.

This website and support email

These policy pages are delivered through Cloudflare. Their code does not add analytics, advertising, tracking scripts, cookies, forms or file uploads. Cloudflare can process IP addresses, requested URLs, request headers and security/access information to deliver and protect the website, according to its services and configuration.

Support messages sent to zenovaappsteam@gmail.com contain the email address, message and any attachments you choose to provide. ZenovaApps uses that information to respond and protect the service. Email providers process the correspondence under their own policies. Avoid sending private images; a description and a non-sensitive example are usually enough.

Support correspondence and provider-managed records have no fixed automatic deletion period promised by this policy. You can contact us about records within our control. We cannot remotely delete files stored on your device or records independently managed by Google or another provider.

Your choices and deletion

Use the dedicated deletion guide for the difference between local history, all app-private storage, exported files and Google records.

  • Clear local history in ExactFit Settings.
  • Clear ExactFit storage in Android Settings or uninstall to remove app-private state that Android removes.
  • Delete exports separately in the gallery or destination app.
  • Manage purchases and subscriptions in Google Play; uninstalling does not cancel a subscription.

Security, intended audience and updates

ExactFit uses HTTPS for its verification requests and disables cleartext Android traffic. App-private backup is disabled in the current app configuration. No software or network is completely risk-free.

ExactFit is a general utility, not a child-directed service; the ad-supported experience can display ads. Contact support if you have a concern about a child's data.

This policy can change as the app or its service providers change. The update date identifies the version of this document. Contact zenovaappsteam@gmail.com with privacy questions.
